Church Street Story

Purchasing and renovating an old house is a lot of work. The exciting thing about this type of work, though is all of the new things you learn about the house, the previous residents and yourself. If you can do the work without going crazy -- it's a lot of fun.

Not long ago, I purchased 3905 Church, a house built in 1900 that had been owned by the same African American family since it was built. The home is on the side of Lookout Mountain, TN, near the world famous Incline Railway.

This blog is about the renovation of the home.
